Our Young Driver Training sessions have been consistently popular, remaining our overall annual bestsellers solidly for four of the last five years. Designed and created with 10 to 17 year olds in mind, they offer the best possible head start in learning and mastering basic driving skills out on the road.

Recent research reveals the worrying statistics with newly qualified drivers; namely, that 1 in 5 of them is likely to have an accident or crash within their first six months following successful completion of their driving test.

And the common factor behind such incidents? Lack of experience. That is why Young Driver Training sessions offer the perfect way for junior drivers to gain some experience as a bridge between now and when they can take their full time driving lessons when they turn 18.

It's never been more necessary as it is now, as Britain's roads are now busier than ever before. And with so many advancements in motoring, the National Driving Test will be covering and expecting more of both new and experienced drivers alike. Available in 30 and 60 minute sessions - both of which are under £100 - under the guidance of an ARDS qualified instructor, your young driver in waiting will cover and learn how to manoeuvre, brake, accelerate and change gears on one of the best possible vehicles for tutoring: a dual controlled Vauxhall Corsa, available in either manual or automatic.

As your child will be taking part in a Young Driver Training session, they'll be learning under the most relaxed and carefully controlled environment possible, with a layout that is closely simulated to resemble real life road conditions. What that means is that the sessions are able to be delivered in the most stress free way - so when they're more relaxed behind the wheel, they'll be a much better learner, and you'll visually see the improved confidence as they go along.
