Croft track in North Yorkshire is an excellent spot to put your car through its paces. Croft racing dates back to the 1920s, when motorsports was in its infancy. Due to a yearly limit on the number of events that may be held, track days for both cars and motorcycles are few and far between at Croft.
Croft Noise Limit for Cars
Croft track days are divided into two noise limits. On a noisy day, the static noise limit for cars is 105dB(A) which your vehicle must meet in order to be allowed on the track. A continuous drive by limit of 97dB(A) must be adhered to while on the circuit. The static and drive-by noise restrictions are both 88dB(A) on the lower limit days, limiting it to road-going cars with unaltered exhausts. Supercars are typically not permitted.
